Campus Recruiter

Location: Pico Rivera, US-CA
Bay Cities is currently experiencing rapid growth, and as a result, we are seeking a Campus Recruiter to join our Human Resources Talent Acquisition team. This role will help hire top talent for multiple teams from top universities in the Southern California area, and simultaneously build strong relationship with local community colleges and high school programs, requiring travel 30% of the time. The ideal candidate will also have experience working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team.
·       In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager, develop end-to-end strategy for recruiting at multiple universities, community colleges and high schools.
·       Coordinate activities to attract the best, brightest and most diverse cross-section of students.
·       Establish relationships with campus career centers, student organizations and key faculty to develop a highly qualified diverse talent pipeline for internships and entry level positions.
·       Interview and assess candidates for technical skills and abilities.
·       Source university talent through events and opportunities for engagement via small and large events, meet-ups, and sessions.
·       Navigate the competitive landscape for hiring student talent for both technical and non- technical internship roles.
·       Build strong relationships with students at all levels in order to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
·       2-3 years of full-life cycle, campus recruiting experience.
·       Bachelor’s Degree
·       Strong ability to effectively manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high volume periods of the recruiting cycle.
·       Proven experience in establishing strong relationships with university career development centers.
·       Strong networking and relationship building experience.
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills-in small and large group formats
·       Excellent presentation skills.
·       A collaborative self-starter, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people centric environment.
·       Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
·       Demonstrated proficiency with common programs like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ATS systems.
·       Ability to work independently and with a team.
·       The ideal candidate will thrive off networking and connecting with others, and is energized by speaking with, and presenting in front of small and large groups.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 30lbs. Work environment includes front-office and manufacturing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must pass background and reference checks, drug screen, and physical examination prior to employment.
