Supply Chain/Fullfillment Manager

Location: Bentonville, AR
The Supply Chain/Fullfillment Manager supports operations, including production and packout areas while ensuring that all milestones of programs are executed within their specified timeframes. Analyzes inventory positions/forecasts and oversees all logistics, packout and pass through programs with Wal-Mart.  Collaborates with Sales, Supply Chain and customer to ensure right level of inventory is at the right location at the right time. 
  • Acts as Liaison between Wal-Mart contacts and Bay Cities for all program execution and strategy. This will include all departments within Wal-Mart (Merchant/Buyers, Replenishment, Supply-chain/logistics, transportation, and Financial Shared Services.
  • Executes retail programs from beginning to end with precision strategy.
  • Manages all aspects of Wal-Mart pass through and DI programs.
  • Creates strategy on selecting and maintaining co-pack facilities/partners. Establish SOPs for facilities to maintain.
  • Travels to facilities as needed to ensure all SOPs are being followed during peak times and at random for quality assurance.
  • Provides Logistical strategy and advice as needed for upcoming programs. Create solutions as needed for customers.
  • Manages all aspects of shipment strategy (ensure that team is planning/managing production and shipping forecast project by project).
  • Manages all Bay Cities Retail Link reporting/analysis and item creation.
  • Avoids financial risk and loss by communicating project and task status and potential pitfalls.
  • Develops project timelines as needed. Communicates resource requirements, both internal external.
  • Manages inventory process. Review receivers and BOL’s, anticipate and communicate shortages.
  • Protects all project finances. Anticipate additional charges, receive customer approval.
  • Assists in outbound shipping process. Reviews outbound BOL’s.
  • Exemplifies strong professional relationships with coworkers, customers, suppliers, and retailers.
  • Answers routine product questions and direct questions to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, Business, or related field. MBA, a plus.
  • 3-5 years of replenishment experience and/or like experience in the consumer packaged goods industry along with transportation and warehouse operations knowledge and experience
  • Previous experience interfacing with large customers such as Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club or Costco highly desirable.
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g. MS Office suite); Experience with Retail Link, Item Creation, and other programs associated with WalMart, a plus
  • Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally.
  • Must be highly organized and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to recommend and implement customer solutions to drive top and bottom line improvement.
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop strategies in line with the company's business vision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects within a fast pace work environment.
  • Valid Driver's License with DMV evidence of good driving record.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of time, as required.
